(Future) Badger Observer: 2026 tight end Jack Janda
Wisconsin's bringing in another big-framed tight end from the Midwest. Here's what to know.

NOVI, Mich. — It was a busy Sunday afternoon at Novi Detroit Catholic Central, but it wasn’t because of mass.
University of Wisconsin tight end commit Jack Janda and the Shamrocks hosted Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice for another installment of the long-running Boys Bowl. The game never was in doubt after Detroit Catholic Central scored on its first offensive play, never looking back in a 41-8 home win.
“Great crowd, 81st Boys Bowl. 11 in a row for us against our rival, Brother Rice,” Janda said. “So we just came out here, did what we’ve been doing all season, and really punched them in the mouth.”
The (Future) Badger Observer series continues watching and evaluating Wisconsin’s 2026 commits. Janda didn’t catch a pass during the weekend win, but his play on both sides of the line of scrimmage showed why the Badgers highly regard him at tight end.
