(Future) Badger Observer: 4-star WR Jayden Petit
A new series dedicated to covering Wisconsin football recruits and targets. First up, four-star wide receiver Jayden Petit.

NAPLES, Fla. — Jayden Petit left no doubt why he deserved a prestigious invite after Friday night’s performance.
Petit, one of the University of Wisconsin football program’s highly-touted 2026 commits, already has received national attention as a nearly consensus four-star recruit. But last week, the Naples St. John Neumann wide receiver announced his commitment to participate in the Navy All-American Bowl, a national prep all-star game that several current and former Badgers have played in.
He quickly followed up the news with a dominant showing for the Celtics in a loss to IMG Academy’s Junior National team Friday, catching several passes that included two touchdown receptions.
“I was really excited because growing up, I used to watch those games, seeing everybody playing there,” Petit said. “I have couple friends that have played in there recently in the past four to five years … so now it's my turn to get to play.”
Badger Observer is excited to unveil our “(Future) Badger Observer” series that covers and reports on Wisconsin commits and targets. Read more below about Petit’s skill set that was seen live, along with a full interview with the Wisconsin commit and insights from an opposing coach.
