Inside 4-star offensive lineman Cole Reiter's latest visit; more Wisconsin football junior day visitors
Checking in on one of the top in-state recruits and a look at who could be in Madison this weekend.

One has to wonder if Cole Reiter knows the University of Wisconsin football facilities like the back of his hand at this point of his recruiting journey.
Somebody told Reiter, who’s evaluated as a consensus four-star player in the 2027 class, that he’s been to Wisconsin a whopping 15 times already as a recruit. His trips to Madison have included being among a group of recruits who took their shirts off during a November home win against Washington, and most recently taking in the program’s first junior day event of 2026 last weekend.
“The junior day was great,” Reiter said earlier this week. “I feel like getting to meet with (offensive line coach Eric) Mateos, finally sitting in a meeting room go over his philosophy and how he coaches, I think that was great for me to see in person. I know I’ve seen him a couple times before. He came to one of my (basketball) games, but now really sitting with him, he’s been talking to us like we’re family pretty much. He tells us about his family. It was great for building our relationship.
“And then the trip in general was great. I saw Coop (linebacker Cooper Catalano), my former teammate there at the hockey game. And just even spending time with all the in-state talent we have was great.”
