Breaking out the Badger Observer Holiday Sale!
Time to jump on board with some savings while a key stretch of covering Wisconsin Athletics is forthcoming!
There’s a lot happening for the University of Wisconsin athletic programs in the coming weeks, and there’s no better time to subscribe to Badger Observer and keep up with all the news and analysis.
It’s been a solid start for Badger Observer and its objectives to travel, report, and tell unique stories of Wisconsin football, volleyball, men’s basketball and recruiting. Wisconsin fans can now take advantage of our holiday sale of 27% off that will extend through Dec. 31.
That applies for both monthly AND annual pricing.

The top-10 volleyball program wraps up regular season play at No. 19 Minnesota on Friday, and the NCAA Tournament is just around the corner. Coach Greg Gard and his basketball program will conclude nonconference play and head into Big Ten competition in the coming weeks.
There’s going to be plenty of football discussion regarding Wisconsin’s 2026 class with the early signing period starting Dec. 3, so stay tuned for more interviews, analysis and features. But there will also be breakdowns of the season that was, who’s leaving for the transfer portal and what needs the Badgers have to address this offseason.
And I hope to have something up my sleeve regarding even more recruiting evaluations as well.
That continues our very busy schedule since Badger Observer’s inception in July. I traveled to Platteville for all of Wisconsin’s fall camp practices in late July and August, drove to Michigan in early October and will be at Minnesota this weekend (provided a snow storm doesn’t derail my departure from Madison early Saturday morning).
I’ve covered Badgers volleyball and men’s basketball games in Milwaukee. I also watched numerous recruits in Indiana, Florida, Michigan and within the home state of Wisconsin.
We’ve already delivered unique features on a new role in the Badgers volleyball program, brothers who walked on to Wisconsin who now are playing on the same special teams unit, a slight change in philosophy for Wisconsin football under coach Luke Fickell and more.
There’s plenty more to look forward to with volleyball wrapping up regular season play and the NCAA Tournament around the corner. Coach Greg Gard and his basketball program will conclude nonconference play in the coming weeks and head into Big Ten competition.

I’ve been extremely grateful for all the support thus far for Badger Observer in its early months of publication. Please help me continue to deliver on our mission statement and be that authentic, independent voice covering Wisconsin Athletics.
