MADISON, Wis. — Watch and listen to what Wisconsin basketball coach Greg Gard— along guards John Blackwell, Nick Boyd, Braeden Carrington and Jack Janicki — discussed after the Badgers’ 67-63 victory over Minnesota at the Kohl Center on Wednesday.

Wisconsin (15-6, 7-3 Big Ten) clawed back from an 18-point deficit during the second half. The win claims the distinction as the largest second-half comeback in program history alongside other 18-point rallies-turned-victories in 2021, 1976 and 1948, according to a UW’s game notes.

Boyd scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half and dished out five assists in the win. Blackwell didn’t shoot well from the field (4 of 13 on field goal attempts), but he made 11 of 14 from the free-throw line to record a game-high 23 points (18 in the second half).

Carrington continued to be a spark off the bench with seven points and five rebounds, while Janicki recorded one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block.
