Wisconsin basketball's Jack Janicki on leadership, development

Another interview available to Badgers fans from a redshirt junior who's emerging as a leader.

MADISON, Wis. — Watch and listen to University of Wisconsin basketball guard Jack Janicki speak with reporters after Tuesday’s practice inside the Nicholas-Johnson Pavilion.

Among the topics Janicki discussed included the following:

  • How his role as a leader has naturally developed

  • How it’s hard to tell how this season’s team will be

  • Praise for sophomores Zach Kinziger and Will Garlock

  • The current college basketball landscape and bringing together different players together

  • Adding 20 pounds to his frame, and how else Wisconsin men’s basketball director of strength and conditioning Jim Snider has helped him with his body
