MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin volleyball team owned the net during its latest home sweep.

No. 9 Wisconsin (13-2, 6-1 Big Ten) racked up 11 blocks during its three-set victory over No. 23 UCLA (10-7, 4-3) at the Field House on Friday. Transfer middle blocker Alicia Andrew led the way with a game-high eight blocks for the Badgers, who held a 11-7 overall advantage over the Bruins in that category.

“I think that our pin blockers did a really good job setting up on their hitters, and then we did a really good job with our hands, specifically left inside hand,” Andrew said. “That was something we were working on this week, and we went out and executed the game plan.”

Here are other thoughts from the Badgers’ latest sweep, plus the postgame interview Andrew, coach Kelly Sheffield and freshman setter Addy Horner.
