MILWAUKEE — What a difference an evening makes for the University of Wisconsin volleyball team’s offensive efficiency.
Wisconsin, less than 24 hours after suffering a three-set loss to No. 3 Kentucky, returned to the Fiserv Forum court Saturday and swept No. 7 Louisville 25-18, 25-20, 25-18. The Badgers rebounded against the Cardinals by hitting .327 and decreasing its offensive mistakes by nearly half (11 attack errors). It was a stark difference from a Friday evening performance where they finished with a .186 hitting percentage and 21 attack errors against the Wildcats.
Here are more takeaways from the top-10 match before Wisconsin (1-1) heads back on the road for next weekend’s Opening Spike Classic in Pittsburgh.
