MADISON, Wis. — Just how long a key piece of the University of Wisconsin volleyball program will be out still remained uncertain as of Monday morning.
Sophomore setter Charlie Fuerbringer, an AVCA third-team All-American last season, was injured and did not return during No. 7 Wisconsin’s three-set sweep over Michigan on Sunday. She currently sits second in the nation in assists per set (11.47) as the Badgers prepare for road trips to No. 16 Penn State and Maryland in the next six days.

“But we’ll get a little bit more information this evening and see how long she’s out for. Hopefully, we’re talking weeks and not months, but we’ll see.”
