The new-look University of Wisconsin volleyball team will take the court for two top-15 matchups this weekend, and Badger Observer welcomes the voice of the program to break it down the upcoming season.

Check out the nearly 19-minute interview with Jon Arias conducted Tuesday morning (video seen below the paywall) where we discuss the following:

  • [1:28] How weird is it not seeing those such as Devyn Robinson, Sarah Franklin, Anna Smrek, Julia Orzol and others not in the Field House, and how the program goes about replacing their production.

  • [5:06] Discussing the growth and development of senior middle blocker Carter Booth and what’s ahead for sophomore setter Charlie Fuerbringer.

  • [9:27] What stretch of the season stands out the most to the voice of Wisconsin volleyball.

  • [12:42] What should be the expectations for the 2025 Wisconsin volleyball team?

  • [14:38] How Arias has seen the sport grow, and where does he think it can still grow?

Be sure to follow Jon Arias on Twitter and listen to the Joncast Podcast on Apple or Spotify. Of course, listen to Wisconsin volleyball matches on ESPN Madison.
