Jaela Auguste wanted to look for bigger things when entering the transfer portal, and that’s led her to a school she’s familiar with on and off the court.

The University of Wisconsin volleyball program.

Auguste already holds All-American and All-SEC honors from her first two seasons at Florida, but as an athlete, she was felt that she was in the same place and wanted to further develop. Being in the portal admittedly was exciting for the Spring, Texas, native and she held an eagerness to find out what was ahead, but she believed that it became more stressful as that journey went on.

Cue a conversation with Wisconsin volleyball coach Kelly Sheffield, where according to Auguste, he went straight to the point and laid out what the program has to offer and what she can improve on and achieve.
