Isaac Miller made a special trip to Madison earlier this week to deliver some good news to the University of Wisconsin football program.

Miller, one of the state’s top prep players in the upcoming 2027 class, has drawn interest from many Power Four schools during his recruiting process. But the Wisconsin football staff and outside linebackers coach Matt Mitchell continued to target him, and that relationship Miller built with the assistant was a significant reason why he decided to verbally commit to the Badgers.

“His vision with me overall, and just the fact that he was the main recruiter the whole time, instead of another recruiter,” Miller said.

“And I’d say that is a big factor for me, just the fact that he actually kept persisting on recruiting me, instead of just sending out graphics from recruiters.”
