It’s been a rough stretch of days for the University of Wisconsin football program on the recruiting trail, but Arthur Scott and a few other commits have taken to social media in reaffirming their commitment to the Badgers.

Wisconsin’s 2026 class has seen two more commits move on this week, which has continued an up-and-down trend this fall of addition and attrition this fall. But outside linebacker commit Yahya Gaad was the first among the Badgers’ 2026 commits to tweet that his “recruitment is closed” on Tuesday evening. Defensive back Donovan Dunsmore reposted Gaad’s message with a quote “What he said!! On Wisconsin.”

Scott, a defensive lineman, was the third of four Badgers commits to go public with support. He posted via social media Thursday that “I am 100% committed to Wisconsin, my recruitment is shut down.”
