PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin football team’s first fully padded practice continued a physical stretch during the first week of training camp.

Toughness and tenacity that the Badgers staff expects out of its players emerged prior, but Monday’s highlights included sophomore running back Darrion Dupree bulldozing his fellow class of 2024 signee, redshirt freshman cornerback Omillio Agard, on an inside run during a first-team 11-on-11 series.

On the flip side, junior inside linebacker Christian Alliegro ran over running back Cade Yacamelli on a blitz during a first-team 11-on-11 series prior to Dupree’s big play.

Here are five other thoughts from Monday’s practice.
