7 thoughts on Wisconsin football fall camp practice No. 15
The final fall camp practice open to reporters saw some plays by potential contributors.

MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin football team has some talent at inside linebacker for the foreseeable future, and that unit once again showed its potential Saturday.
Tackett Curtis and Christian Alliegro have been the first duo up at the position group during fall camp when healthy, but redshirt freshman Thomas Heiberger and freshmen Cooper Catalano and Mason Posa also have stood out over the last 15 practices.
Posa in particular made splashes with the second-team defense on Saturday. Defensive coordinator Mike Tressel used the word “slippery” when discussing how it’s difficult to block Posa earlier this week.
Posa worked into the backfield on a Grover Bortolotti run during one 11-on-11 series, then tracked down wide receiver Dekel Crowdus on a run to the outside on another drive.
“I thought (Posa) did a really good job today,” coach Luke Fickell said. “Consistency in any young guy is going to be really the key, and can you trust the guys can be consistent enough to go out there and do what they need to do and the role that which they have. But there's no doubt that the idea of let it fly in four to six fits right into his mentality.”
