8 thoughts on Wisconsin football fall camp practice No. 11
Don't worry, Wisconsin's QB1 said he's fine after leaving practice. That left two key backups with first-team reps.

MADISON, Wis. — Luke Fickell and his University of Wisconsin football program have had their fair share of QB1 injuries in recent memory, but Billy Edwards Jr. appeared A-OK after leaving practice to start the week.
Wisconsin starting quarterbacks Tanner Mordecai and Tyler Van Dyke have missed significant time during the last two seasons, so attention from reporters in the Camp Randall Stadium stands turned to Edwards gingerly walking off the field during the Badgers’ eleventh fall camp practice Monday.
Edwards didn’t return to 11-on-11 periods, but he told reporters afterwards that he “just clicked knees a little bit” and called it “a little bruise.” He wore a sleeve on his left leg and moved better as time went on. He even said he was running at the end of practice.
“I feel fine right now,” Edwards said. “It just definitely, when you get a little bit like a stinger, took probably 10 minutes to walk it off.
“So definitely nothing that adrenaline in a game wouldn't help me keep rolling through, but feel good.”
