Are you ready for me to be a Badger?
Ann, a consensus four-star recruit who plays for Maple Grove High School in Minnesota, took a trip to the University of Wisconsin basketball program June 17. He had a gut feeling he wanted to commit right after his time in Madison, but he waited until after his visit to homestate Minnesota to reach back out to the longtime Badgers coach.
Then came Gard’s answer.
“He said, ‘Yeah,’” Ann said. “I committed right there. A lot of yelling, excitement, and it was really fun, enjoyable day for me.”
