MILWAUKEE — There’s a lot that the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team will have to watch on tape after their exhibition loss to start the weekend.

But coach Greg Gard certainly feels this’ll help his Badgers.

There were a notable amount of positives during No. 24 Wisconsin’s 84-83 loss to Oklahoma at Fiserv Forum on Friday, which is part of The Bad Boys Mowers Series. But the Sooners finished the game shooting over 50% from the field and held advantages in several key categories.

“I think this is why we want to do these things, to get in this environment and to play against this type of team and get a lot of things exposed,” Gard said. “Areas that you can’t maybe learn about as as in-depth during practice, and to be able to come in and do this and see a team that can challenge you in different ways, I think this is great for us.”

Here are eight thoughts from the exhibition, plus full postgame interviews from Gard, Wisconsin guard John Blackwell and forward Austin Rapp, along with Oklahoma coach Porter Moser.
